Vision Not For All

image

Vision is not a possession of all.
It belongs only to those
Who allow their minds
The grace of wild flight
Wings that wander to other worlds
A restlessness to be quelled
Only on finding the right answers.

PS: I’m trying my hands at Visual Poetry. There’s still a lot to learn and the above is my baby step. I know there’s a lot to discover. Wish me well.

  1. Aw! This is most definitely NOT a sight for sore eyes…..its stunning, its art! 😃😄 I absolutely love this Zee! Both the visual and text make more than a world of sense! Helen Keller asserts that the only thing worse than being blind, is having sight but no vision! So am guessing everyone’s got sight but some fall short of vision!

You’re pretty unpredictable Honeycomb, and you keep pushing the boundaries……going beyond the limits! Way to go girl, you gat MAD skillz! 😎👉

  2. Ziks, lovely. Methinks you did well here and you know I wouldn’t flatter you.

I am thinking though that we can collapse the first two lines into one to read:

Vision belongs only to those. ..

As you know, we seek to condense and should remove whatever can be taken out.

I like the line ‘the grace of wild flight’ Cool irony. To think that wildness can be termed as something linked to grace. … Nice.

We shall watch on, dear sis, as you journey on, to the wild. 🙂 You have grace. You have us.

    Cheers.
