She finds her shelter in the dark
Her solace in the shadows
Away from Sun – the prying eye
The mouth that venom spills
There’s succor sure in the obscure
The murky grounds of gloom
And when they slam their gavel grand
Her dimness knows no bounds

A wonderful choice of title and its pretty ironic that any would seek and find solace in the dark, as that would practically swallow ’em up as time goes by; unless by some chance; they emerge from the shadows and into the marvelous, glorious light that shines unto a perfect day! Then and only then can they truly find the peace they seek! 😉
