her eureka moment
came quite by chance
the accident of purpose
a flash of eternity
she’d bid goodbye
to the art of knowing
and science’s wisdom
threw in her sponge
intuition beamed then
scales fell
and the sun – it shone
clearer ever after
her eureka moment
came quite by chance
the accident of purpose
a flash of eternity
she’d bid goodbye
to the art of knowing
and science’s wisdom
threw in her sponge
intuition beamed then
scales fell
and the sun – it shone
clearer ever after
Simple, yet elegant flow…..

Wow! A most ingenious portrayal of ‘catching and chancing upon a lucky break’ I’d say! Like, happening upon a thing…an idea, brought on by that which is completely outta our control as surmised by John Ashbery in these words….’Just when I thought there wasn’t room enough for another thought in my head, I had this great idea’! Plus, the Good Book terms this happenstance succinctly as ‘Time and Chance happening to one’! Moreso, Victor Hugo affirms that ‘All the forces in the world are not so powerful as an idea whose time has come’! And the time factor’s completely subject to the timing of He who’s the God of time and seasons; He alone totally gets to call the shots! ๐๐
I absolutely love your ‘Moment Series’ Zee, and this is my best of your offerings since the year began! Keep bringing it girl, you know you oughta! ๐Shalom! ๐๐

“the accident of purpose”
Interesting line…
Can purpose be accidental?
Random events
Pieces of puzzles
Moved by design
Nothing is accidental

… and sometimes there’s a different outcome from the expected. And we find that therein lies the very answers we’re searching for.
Hello Topazo. Long time. Good to ‘see you.’ โบ

Eureka moments… happenings by accident, chance. Refreshing, exciting, uncertain– gets you questioning “is this a sign, or just a flimsy coincidence.” Your heart begs to believe it, but your head– too rational for its own good warns, “if it’s too good to be true, it probably is.”
#sigh!
Lovely piece mami. โค
