Give Me A Good Report

A good report
Douses the fire
Raging within
When times are dire

When sleep that’s sweet
Is washed off eyes
As of with soap
That launders mire

Give me some news
That all is well
And if not, that
It soon will be

Give me new eyes
New hopes new wings
A mind that sees
Beyond these bars

Unearth the wonders
That can be
And tell me tales
Of victories yet

  2. What does the number connote? Feels nice this poem. Should I prescribe some pills to take out a few things?  Maybe.

    I will smile alone.

  3. A good, nay; great report shall be yours Sweets, keeping looking to the Author and Finisher of our faith, with hope and expectations at an all time high and He’d make everything alright in His Perfect Time! Afterall, He’s the God of time and seasons! 😇😊

The gentle appeal in these beautiful lines is mighty endearing and heart-feeling! I love this Honeycomb, it grabs! 😊👍
