On the sprightly ride
These skies are hostile of late
Is it the tide?

If the grass is greener
On the other side
I think it might be meaner
If now is denied

Better not wait

      • Hehehe! Can’t remember the artiste now, but its a very old classic, a golden oldie in that beautiful era when the Frank Sinatras, Sammie Davis jr, Louie Armstrong et al; reigned and ruled! Will go look it up, and get back to you on it! My dad used to ‘jam’ it back in the days; totally suckers for the generality of music he was and well; I kinda turned into him in that regard….a chip off the old block! 😂😄
